Mailén - the girl who loves otters!

This is otter lover Mailén!

Mailén can’t get enough of otters and combined another one of her passions, art and books, to create an otter comic book! As part of World Otter Day’s 10th year celebration, Mailén created her own otter bookmarks which she gave to her classmates to raise awareness for otters and make her friends think about otters for the day and thereafter!

IOSF education officer, Ben Yoxon, then joined Mailén’s school online to talk about otters, why they are so special and what we are doing to help them, as well as allowing children to ask questions all about otters!

We love hearing stories of kids (and adults, for that matter) that love otters and want to protect them. We need more Mailén’s that have passion for otters.
