Our Current Event

There will be free events taking place in Germany this Autumn based on “Patschel”, an otter novel written in 1946 by acclaimed local author Heinrich Malzkorn.

There will be a short presentation on IOSF work with Otters, a short film of their work and an opportunity to discuss corporate sponsorship and other support opportunities.

Refreshments and Otter Cup Cakes will also be available!

Note: There will be a raffle to win many "otterly" incredible prizes with all proceeds going to IOSF. Your Eventbrite Ticket will be your raffle ticket and the draw will take place at the end of the event. Even if you cannot attend the event in person you can still purchase your ticket and be entered into the raffle

Driving tour 7:30-11:30 a.m. along the banks of the Clarion River

Binoculars and spotting scopes are recommended.

Hot chocolate and coffee available to otter-spotters in park office at 113 River Road, Cooksburg.

Meet at 11am in the Interpretive centre.
Come along and learn about Ireland's elusive otters!
There will be a presentation in the Interpretive Centre followed by a walk on the Island to hopefully find some signs of Otters.
All welcome :) This is a free event.

Meeting: upstairs in the Interpretive Centre, at the top of the Causeway Road, Bull Island.
